Music in the Meadow (Friday, Aug. 4, 2023)

Celebrate summer with the Preserve at Music in the Meadow, featuring live music by soul singer Mukamuri! This is an all-ages event, hosted rain or shine. Live music begins at 6:15 pm.

Entry is free for Preserve Members, with up to 2 complimentary tickets for adults, and all member’s children under 18 are free.

Non-Members are welcome to attend. Tickets are $10 each.

Please note the following changes to accommodate the weather:

TENTED EVENT SPACE

We have moved the event inside the James Moore Pavilion and party tent so Mukamuri’s incredible soul music can be enjoyed free from the rain and in each other’s company.

SEATING WILL BE PROVIDED

Please refrain from bringing your own blankets and large chairs as we will have folding chairs and picnic tables—first come first serve—available.

COME HUNGRY!

Two amazing food trucks will be available to purchase sweet and savory fare: Local Harvest Pizza and Kona Ice.

PARKING

Self-parking is available in the red gravel lot immediately to your left upon entry to the Preserve. It is a short walk to the Pavilion and party tent.

ATTIRE

We always encourage comfortable attire and walkable footwear at the Preserve. Please bring umbrellas and/or waterproof layers to keep you dry during your walk to and from your vehicle, the food trucks and our restrooms.

WEATHER

There’s something quite magical about singing in the rain—or in this case, singing along with Mukamuri in the rain!  However, your safety is our top priority. If lightning presents at any point during the evening, we reserve the right to close the performance early.

THANK YOU!

A special thanks to our Preserve members for your ongoing support—this night was created for you! And a warm welcome to our new visitors joining us for the first time. The Preserve is such a special destination in our community that inspires conservation action. It doesn’t get more harmonious than music and nature, and we plan to host more incredible Music in the Meadow evenings in the near future.

Program Fee: FREE for Preserve Members (Select up to 2 complimentary Adult tickets). Member’s children under 18 are free and must be accompanied by a Member adult. Please note how many children are attending with you in the Checkout Notes box.
